What Brought Me To Dentistry
I’m originally from Salem, Virginia, and I knew I wanted to be a dentist from the time I was in high school. My grandfather was actually a dentist, and he showed me how I could combine my love of the sciences and working with my hands to really make a difference in people’s lives.
Dental Education & Associations
I attended James Madison University for my undergrad where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree, and afterward, I achieved my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. During this time, I was honored to be inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society for students who have shown excellence in scholarship, character, and professional growth.
Life at Home
Most of my time away from the dental office is spent with my lovely wife and four children (who are all ages five and under!). When I’m able to wrangle everyone together, we like to spend our time outdoors hiking, fishing, and camping. I also enjoy wakeboarding and playing volleyball whenever I can.
